Maiya Chard-Yaron

Maiya has been the assistant Director of University of Maryland Hillel for the past 3 months. For 2 years prior to that, she was its Director of Educational Engagement. For 3 years prior to that, she was the Program Director at Hillel at Davis and Sacramento. She was also an Educator at Camp Ramah in New England in the summer of 2008. She was the Director of Education and Judaic Programming at Camp Alonim (Brandeis-Bardin) in the summer of 2006. She has an M.A., Informal/Experiential Jewish Education from JTS (2009), and graduated from Columbia University in 2006 with a BA in Sociology.
